The total revenue of the firms reached 206.83 billion yuan ($33.51 billion), up 40 percent compared to the previous year.According to Li Jianming, vice-chairman of China Enterprise Confederation, the reason why Alibaba is not on the list is because Alibabas IPO is under process and its financial management data is not available at the moment.Unlike the “Fortune Global 500”, the top 500 Chinese enterprises list is ranked by the data reported by the companies themselves. Although some of the firms have broken through the entry limit of 20 billion yuan revenue, they have been unable to make it to the list.Heres a look at the top 10 companies in China based on revenue: No. 10 China National Offshore Oil CorpChina National Offshore Oil Corporation,or CNOOC, the largest offshore oil and gas producer in China, is a State-owned company operating directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council of the Peoples Republic of China.
